I didn't realize you had found me here :) I agree about giving kids presents. We should let them be kids for as long as possible and Christmas is one of those events that just brings the kids out in all of us. It didn't sit well with us so we've decided that come next Christmas, we'd give them gifts... even cheap ones, as long as they'd have something to unwrap :) but i get your point... I also make it a point not to spend money I don't have... and neither do I give gifts to save face or look good... anyway, here's to a happier new year for us all... hoping for more intersting experiences for you... last Christmas, hubs and I didn’t give gifts, even to nieces and nephews.
